GloRilla To Make ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut – Hosted by Dave Chappelle.
“Saturday Night Live” has announced that Dave Chappelle will host the show and GloRilla will debut as the musical guest on Jan. 18. It’s Chappelle’s fourth time hosting.
GloRilla has had an epic year in 2024. Her debut record, “Glorious,” was released in October, and the record hit No. 5 on the Billboard album charts and made it to No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, while she scored four bona fide hit singles over the past year.
GloRilla made her late-night network TV debut in November, appearing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where she performed “I Luv Her” with T-Pain.
SNL’s 50th season kicked off in September, with musical guest Jelly Roll, and has continued with performances by Coldplay, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Mk.gee, Charli XCX, Shaboozey, Gracie Adams and Hozier.
Next month, Saturday Night Live will celebrate its 50th season with a three-hour live primetime special airing on NBC and Peacock. A four-part docuseries titled SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night will also debut on Peacock on Jan. 16.
