Legendary platinum-selling hip-hop group Mobb Deep continues their highly anticipated return with the release of “Taj Mahal,” the second single from their forthcoming album Infinite, arriving October 10, 2025, via Mass Appeal. The new track is produced by longtime collaborator Alchemist.
On “Taj Mahal,” Mobb Deep takes listeners on a vivid ride with their Queensbridge crew, weaving a cinematic day-in-the-life tale of heading down to Atlantic City to spend time at the iconic casino. Over Alchemist’s gritty yet hypnotic production, Havoc and Prodigy deliver sharp verses that feel equal parts nostalgic and cinematic, pulling fans back into the Mobb Deep universe.
This collaboration carries added weight given Alchemist’s deep connection to Mobb Deep. First linking with the duo in the late 1990s, Alchemist contributed to their Platinum-certified Murda Muzik album and went on to become an extended family member of the Queensbridge camp. His chemistry with Havoc and Prodigy has resulted in some of the group’s most memorable records, making “Taj Mahal” a natural continuation of a decades-long creative bond.
The release follows the group’s first posthumous offering, “Against The World,” produced by Havoc, which immediately resonated with fans and critics as a return to the duo’s classic sound.
With Infinite, Mobb Deep is not only revisiting their roots but extending them, bridging generations with a sound that remains true to their legacy while staying urgent in today’s cultural landscape.
Infinite drops October 10, 2025.
Infinite is the fourth release of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It campaign, celebrating 7 iconic artists all releasing new music, including: Slick Rick, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Big L, De La Soul, and Nas/DJ Premier.
