Scarface took to social media to give an update on his health after undergoing open heart surgery.
He expressed his gratitude for making a full recovery while revealing the surgery “could’ve gone either way.”
“6wks ago I underwent open heart surgery, to be upright and smiling today shows you that God aint nothing to play with,” he wrote alongside a photo of him looking both happy and dapper at the Grandmaster Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend, where he and the Paid in Full Foundation honored fellow Hip Hop pioneers Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz and Roxanne Shanté.
“Again I say, I’m grateful, it could’ve went either way, yet I’m still alive.”
