The album features already re-released tracks “Body Weak,” “The Way You Used to Love Me” and “Whatever it May,” which each received cinematic video treatments. Just last night, Diamond played his debut LA show at The Peppermint Club, hosted by Zack Fox.
Diamond Cafe’s stage presence embodies that of a classic rockstar, which is perfectly paired with funk guitar riffs and classic new wave/synth pop sounds, recalling Minneapolis’s music output of the late 1970s. Over the past couple of years, Diamond has gained notable champions in the industry and has been writing and producing with artists like Zack Fox, Bones, Anderson .Paak, PNAU, Free Nationals proving there’s much more to come.
