New Information in Pooh Shiesty’s Gucci Mane Kidnapping, Robbery Case.
New federal court documents show what prosecutors say was the planned, armed kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio.
Rapper Pooh Shiesty, real name Lontrell Williams Jr., allegedly forced Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, to release him from his 1017 Records contract.
The documents include video, photos, and screenshots of allegedly related text messages.
Williams’ father and fellow rapper Big30 were among the eight co-defendants listed when the charges were announced. Lontrell Williams Sr., Pooh Shiesty’s father, is allegedly the man in the picture on page 8 holding a document, believed to be the recording contract release form.
On pages 8 and 11, the court documents allege Pooh Shiesty’s dad printed the contract release form at a Staples just hours before the meeting.
Prosecutors say the video captures Gucci Mane stating that “Pooh Shiesty dropped from 1017 (Records)” after signing the form, while someone blocked the door with a gun.
The alleged robbery has now been valued at $450,000, including Gucci Mane’s wedding band, watch, earrings and cash, according to page 9 of the court documents,
Pooh Shiesty only got out of a Florida prison last year for an unrelated gun charge. He was supposed to be on house arrest.
Prosecutors allege Pooh Shiesty was able “to travel to unapproved locations while he was supposed to be confined to his residence,” according to court docs, because he was “involved in an inappropriate relationship with at least one of his” case supervisors. That caseworker was later fired.
Text messages in page 21 of the court docs appear to show Pooh Shiesty talking about being “high and drunk,” which would be a violation of his probation.
Prosecutors say they have five cooperating victims/witnesses who corroborate the digital and physical evidence.
Pooh Shiesty remains in the Kaufman County jail, awaiting trial in February of 2027. Big30 was released on bond.
Pooh Shiesty faces up to life in prison if convicted. He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges.S: Local 5
