Post Malone Sets New Record on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart

Post Malone sets a new record on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart as he occupies six of the top 10 positions. On the chart dated May 12, the rapper/singer has tracks in the tier with “Psycho,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which climbs one spot to return to its No. 2 peak, “Better Now,” a No. 4 debut, the former No. 1 smash “Rockstar,” featuring 21 Savage (No. 5), and three additional debuts with “Paranoid” (No. 7), “Rich & Sad” (No. 9) and the Swae Lee-assisted “Spoil My Night” (No. 10)

With six titles in the top 10, Post Malone outdoes Cardi B, Drake and J. Cole, who each have registered at least one week with five songs in the region.

Post Malone’s record-setting achievement comes courtesy of his beerbongs & bentleys album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with the highest one-week streaming sum for any album.

Below the top tier on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, 12 more beerbongs cuts are on the 50-position list: “Ball For Me,” featuring Nicki Minaj (No. 11), “Some Bitches,” featuring G-Eazy & YG (No. 13), “Zack and Codeine” (No. 15), “Over Now” (No. 16), “Takin’ Shots” (No. 18), “92 Explorer” (No. 26), “Otherside” (No. 29), “Blame It on Me” (No. 30), “Sugar Wraith” (No. 37). Plus, previous release “Candy Paint” re-enters at No. 23, two spots below its best showing. Source: Billboard
