On Sunday, August 18, YG hosted a peace walk that signified the end of a 10-year beef between two rival gangs.
In footage posted to social media, you can see YG walking with numerous members and their families. According to reports, the walk began at Gonzales Park. YG met with people from the community and posed for photos with fans before they made their way down Rosecrans Avenue. At one point, The Game also popped in and took photos with fans.
During the peace walk, YG and company hit Tam’s Burgers for a meal and posted up. The restaurant is the same location that appears in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video.
The peace walk happened after YG reportedly served as a mediator who convinced both gangs to put their differences behind them.
