Sy Ari Da Kid, Benny The Butcher, CyHi Da Prince – Rebellion

Acclaimed rapper, lyricist, singer and host Sy Ari Da Kid kicks off the new year with the release of an electrifying new single, Rebellion, featuring hip-hop heavyweights Benny The Butcher and CyHi Da Prince.

The track is an unfiltered anthem of authenticity, resilience and defiance in the face of adversity. Co-Produced by Jamar Johnson and Vntg Jag, Rebellion showcases each artist’s unique strengths: Sy Ari Da Kid’s introspective lyricism, Benny The Butcher’s streetwise storytelling and CyHi Da Prince’s sharp wordplay. Together, they deliver a hard-hitting track that resonates with the heart of hip-hop.

“Benny, Cyhi, and I vividly depict our journey from poverty, where defying laws and rules was necessary for survival and providing for our families,” explains Sy Ari Day Kid. “Despite the struggle, pain and challenges, we persevered in an environment designed to hold us back. This story highlights the risks young Black individuals face to escape poverty, while also portraying the harsh realities that can result from the paths we choose to take.”

On February 7, Sy Ari Da Kid will release The Last Shadow In The Shade, the final installment of his album trilogy following The Shadow In The Shade and The Shadow In The Shade 2. The series explores themes of determination, personal growth and overcoming challenges brought to life through authentic storytelling and soulful production. Featuring collaborations with iconic artists such as Jadakiss, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Lloyd Banks, Raekwon, EARTHGANG and more, the trilogy has been praised for its creativity. With over 20 tracks on both of the previous releases, Rap Reviews describes the prolific projects as “a comprehensive listening experience reminiscent of early 2000s mixtapes.”
