Lucky Daye – Blame ft. Teddy Swims (Live Performance)
R&B superstar Lucky Daye dropped a live performance video of his song “Blame” featuring Teddy Swims from his now Grammy nominated album Algorithm. The performance is from Lucky’s The Algorithm Tour he wrapped at the end of August where Lucky brought Teddy Swims out to surprise fans.
This drop is on the heels of Lucky garnering two 2025 Grammy nominations – “Best R&B Album” for Algorithm and “Best R&B Performance” for his single “That’s You.” Lucky has been at the forefront of the R&B genre, earning now 13 GRAMMY nominations so far in his career, securing a Grammy win for “Best Progressive R&B Album” for his EP Table for Two in 2021.
Lucky’s latest and now Grammy nominated album Algorithm, out now via Keep Cool/RCA Records, showcases Lucky’s versatility, immersing the listener into an experimental and futuristic sound that fuses various genres including R&B, rock, alternative and more. The album redefines what it means to be an R&B artist in the modern era and was created with Lucky’s longtime collaborators D’Mile and J. Kercy.
Algorithm is inspired by Lucky not following a certain rulebook or ‘algorithm’ in order to achieve success, but instead carving his own path in the industry. The new album arrives on the heels of previously released singles “HERicane” and “Soft,” the latter of which he performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He also performed a medley of “That’s You” and “HERicane” on Good Morning America. To support the album, Lucky embarked on his long-awaited The Algorithm Tour that kicked off in July of this year and hit major cities across North America such as Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto and more.
Most recently, Lucky performed at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony where he performed with Mary J. Blige to honor her induction.
