Glorilla made a surprise appearance at 901 Day in Downtown Memphis on Sunday, performing her hit song “T.G.I.F.”
“I love y’all!” she told the packed crowd on Beale Street.
901 Day is Memphis’ unofficial holiday dedicated to celebrating the city’s culture, creativity, and strong community spirit. Observed on Sept. 1, the date aligns with Memphis’ area code, 901, and can be written as 9/01.
To commemorate her Bluff City roots, she was given the key to the city with Mayor Paul Young and the city of Memphis in attendance.
