Create Music Group has announced a joint venture partnership with Ty Dolla $ign and Shawn Barron’s EZMNY Records.

Create Music Group, the world’s leading independent music and entertainment company, announced the joint venture with Ty Dolla $ign and his EZMNY Records label.

EZMNY Records co-founder Shawn Barron signed Ty Dolla $ign to Atlantic Records in 2012.

As co-founders of EZMNY, Ty and Barron have signed breakout artist Leon Thomas (EZMNY/Motown Records), whose hit “Mutt” continues to climb the charts, further cementing their proven track record of identifying next-generation talent.

“The Create Music Group deal serves as a new chapter for EZMNY Records,” says Barron. “Partnering with the Create team is a natural extension of the artist-first vision Ty and I have already built with the success of EZMNY. In addition to their success with Leon Thomas, EZMNY is home to newly signed artists Bizzy Crook, rjtheweirdo, Saige Michael, and Keith Turner.
