Classified – Sure Enough ft. Masta Ace

Today, the versatile artist and producer from Nova Scotia, Classified, teams up with acclaimed Brooklyn rapper Masta Ace to dismiss the haters in their new boom-bap anthem, “Sure Enough.”  The rap video is directed by Griffin O’Toole, showcasing the two MCs delivering clever bars and commemorating their over 25 years in the hip-hop scene.

As Classified puts it, “Getting to work with a legend on this song has been an honor. Been listening to Masta Ace for 30 years now and it was great to get him on this song. When I made the beat, I knew I wanted something with some good energy to it, and left space for a cool flow on it. And then lyrically I just wanted to go in with clever rhymes and flows, and make sure to keep that energy on the vocals that the beat has”.

Classified will share his 19th studio album entitled Luke’s View via HalfLife Records & Big Story Entertainment on April 26. The album includes the reflective track “All Wrong,” the soul-searching “Wonder,” and the powerful commentary on society “People.”
