Aya Nakamura Shares – “No Stress”

Multi-platinum French-Malian superstar Aya Nakamura shares her new single and music video “No Stress,” the first glimpse of her forthcoming Destinée due this Friday. The news of her upcoming album coincided with the announcement of her now sold-out stadium shows at Paris’ Stade de France on May 29th, 2026, which sold 240,000 tickets in the first day alone.

Earlier this week, the cultural icon revealed the album’s tracklist, which will include features from Colombian-American Grammy winner Kali Uchis (“Baby Boy”), Jamaica’s dancehall leading figure Shenseea (“Dis-moi”), British-Nigerian Afrobeats artist JayO (“Tralala”), French-Haitian kompa star Joé Dwèt Filé (“Baddies”) and French R&B rising singer Kany (“Pamela”).

Aya Nakamura says:

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be back with an album that’s truly me and, finally, to share it with all of my fans. Destinée is a piece of my soul, and announcing the Stade de France show is like going full-circle. I can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all.”

Destinée will be Aya Nakamura’s much-anticipated fifth album, following the French #1 album DNK (2023), the France Music Award-winning album Aya (2020), her global breakthrough album Nakamura (2018) – now the most-streamed French-language album of all time – and her platinum debut album Journal Intime (2017).

This new album and Paris Stade France shows (240,000 total capacity) will highlight a 10-year career filled with success, marked by sold-out arenas and culture-defining performances, such as Vogue World and the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, which was viewed by billions across the globe.

Born in Bamako, Mali and raised in the Northern Paris suburb of Aulnay-sous-Bois, Aya Nakamura comes from a family of griots (West African storytellers) and is the eldest of her five siblings. Her music is described as a powerful and unique fusion of Pop, Afrobeats, Caribbean Zouk and R&B, characterized by her distinct vocal style, slang-spiced lyrical creativity and captivating melodies.

An artist of immense cultural penetration, Aya Nakamura’s work is a testament to authenticity and resilience. Her repertoire totals now over 7 Billion global streams, making her the most-streamed French female artist in history, and she is followed by 25 Million+ fans on social media. She is also the new face of Lancôme as their Global Ambassador.
