outh African music sensation Tyla has inked a multi-million dollar global deal with Roc Nation.
The Grammy-winning artist’s new partnership with the label comes shortly after she decided not to renew her previous deal with Epic Records, opening the door for a new chapter under Jay-Z’s entertainment company.
The signing was announced in a big way, with Tyla’s arrival at Roc Nation celebrated through a major digital takeover in New York’s famous Times Square, as reported by Capital FM.
Tyla is preparing for the release of her upcoming APop album, scheduled to drop on 24 July.
The new partnership is expected to help advance Tyla’s career, building on the success she achieved with her breakout hit ‘Water’ and her rapid rise from South African star to international pop figure.
The partnership gives Tyla access to Roc Nation’s global network and industry experience as she looks to establish herself as a long-term force in the international music scene.
