NFL star turned musician Darren Waller is set to release his newest track, “This Too Shall Pass,” an anthem of hope and resilience. The song is deeply personal to Waller, who has drawn from his own experiences with addiction and mental health struggles. Having emerged from a difficult year, both mentally and emotionally, Waller crafted this song to inspire those who are going through their own tough times.

 

 

“The song is for anyone going through a difficult season,” explains Waller. “It’s a song I wish I had during the dark days of my addiction, and I’m grateful to have written this as I’m coming out of a mentally and emotionally turbulent year myself. I hope this track meets people in their pain and reminds them that they will not be there forever.”

“This Too Shall Pass” will appear on the upcoming Internal Warfare: This Too Shall Pass EP, releasing on October 23. The single is produced by PALE1080 and KXVI, with the EP also featuring production sadcg. The project delivers a powerful message to anyone facing hardship, reminding them that while the current season may be difficult, it’s only temporary. Waller hopes the music will serve as a source of comfort and motivation for listeners facing challenges in their own lives.

Waller’s previous release, On Notice: Bag Talk EP, is a 4-track project that showcased his lyrical ability as covered a range of themes, from his relentless competitive drive (“Bag Talk”) and moments of self-reflection (“Day In The Life”) to the sources of his motivation (“On Notice”) and the strength of his faith (“Summer On Fremont”).
