DJ Khaled is set to host the 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards, which will broadcast live on Saturday, March 23.
Khaled — who last year was nominated for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Song for “I’m the One” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne — this year is up for three orange blimps and in store for loads of green slime.
Favorite Music Group contenders are the Chainsmokers, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Migos, Twenty One Pilots, while Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Luke Bryan and Shawn Mendes are competing for Favorite Male Artist.
The Favorite Collaboration category comprises “Girls Like You” (Maroon 5, featuring Cardi B); “Happier” (Marshmello, featuring Bastille); “I Like It” (Cardi B, featuring Bad Bunny, J Balvin); “Meant to Be” (Bebe Rexha, featuring Florida Georgia Line); “No Brainer” (DJ Khaled, featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Quavo); and “Sicko Mode” (Travis Scott, featuring Drake).
Continuing a trend in recent years, the KCAs continue to expand fan-voted categories. New for 2019 are Favorite TV Host, Favorite TV Judges, Favorite Superhero and Favorite Gamer. Kids also will vote on how they want to better the world in the new category How Do You Want to Help? Source: Billboard
