Nas has officially signed Stro (formerly known as Astro) to Mass Appeal Records. Stro garnered acclaim when he first appeared on X-Factor at 14. After being eliminated, he released several projects, most notably his 2017 album, Grade A Frequencies. The multi-hypenate has also delved into acting, appearing on FOX’s TV series, Red Band Society. With a new deal locked in, Stro is grooming himself for his Mass Appeal debut, Nice 2 Meet You, Again.
“There was a lot of ups and downs creating this project, but through the grace of God I’m able to say I got it done,” Stro told Billboard. “Through the grace of God, I’m also able to release this new music through one of the most authentic labels in music today, Mass Appeal Records. The whole building has been supporting what I do. NAS SUPPORTS WHAT I DO. That’s a blessing I’ll hold on to and keep in mind for the rest of my journey. That’s all I needed.”
Astro joins the likes of Dave East, Fashawn, Black Milk, Mannie Fresh and many others on the imprint. Source: Billboard
