Young Thug was arrested late Thursday at the arcade chain’s Hollywood Blvd. location in Los Angeles for possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed by the Daily News.
The arrest came at 11:40 p.m. local time after authorities detained several vehicles and found multiple firearms during their search, police said.
Young Thug — real name Jeffery Lamar Williams — had planned to host a listening party for his new album “Slime Language” at that Dave & Buster’s on Thursday.
The rapper turned 27 on Thursday, and the listening party was also billed on his social media page as a “birthday celebration.”
Police could not confirm whether Young Thug was arrested inside or outside of the restaurant-and-gaming establishment. Multiple social media users shared videos that allegedly showing the rapper being escorted outside of the venue.
