Warner Chappell Music Inks Swedish Hitmaker and Songwriter Greekazo.

Warner Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced the signing of hitmaking Swedish artist and songwriter Greekazo. To date, Greekazo has accumulated more than 400 million streams across his catalogue. This new deal marks a key milestone, as he continues to develop his creative output and looks to expand his international reach.

Raised in Stockholm, Greekazo broke into the mainstream in 2019 with his 5x Platinum single “HotSpot,” instantly establishing himself as one of the most defining voices in Swedish hip-hop. He solidified his superstar status with “FÖRSENT” (feat. 1.Cuz) – which reached Number One on Spotify Sweden, became the official theme song for Netflix’s hit Swedish drama series Snabba Cash, and grew into the most-streamed Swedish hip-hop song of all time, while going 10x Platinum.

Greekazo released his debut album, GÖR NU, TÄNK SEN, in 2020, amassing more than 110 million streams, followed by 6TON5 in 2021. That same year, he released the 4x Platinum track “ICE CREAM,” featuring fellow Swedish artist Dree Low, which again topped the Spotify Sweden charts and earned a Grammis nomination for Song of the Year.

Last year, he teamed up with Swedish rapper Adaam for the EP NYA SKOLANS LEDARE, which included the Number One hit song “Håller Mig Själv.” The track once again cemented Greekazo’s place at the forefront of Swedish hip-hop, while earning the duo a Grammis nomination for Hip-Hop of the Year in 2026.

Greekazo said: “I spent a lot of time talking to Eddie and the Chappell team, and it became clear they understand my vision for my music and where I want to take my career next. I’m excited to get to work as we push creative boundaries, tap into new markets, and build something huge together.”

Lars Karlsson, Managing Director, Warner Chappell Music Nordics, added: “Greekazo is an extraordinary talent who captured the energy of a whole generation in Sweden from the moment he burst onto the scene. As he moves into the next stage of his career, I’m delighted we’ll be onboard to help take him to the next level and leverage our global network of writers and producers to amplify his talent worldwide.”

Edward Matthew, VP of International A&R and Head of Creative, Warner Chappell Music Nordics, concluded: “Greekazo’s influence on Swedish hip-hop and youth culture cannot be overstated. He continues to make groundbreaking music and pushes the needle with every project he delivers. Greekazo and his team have incredible creative energy, and we’re excited to welcome him to the WCM family.”
