The 2024 BET Awards Winners & Highlights.

The 2024 BET Awards, which took place on Sunday (June 30) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles are in the books. Hosted by actress, author, and producer Taraji P. Henson, the show delivered an incredible ceremony celebrating Black excellence in entertainment.

Megan Thee Stallion, the Hot Girl captain from Texas, set the stage on fire with an electrifying opening performance of “BOA” and “Where Them Girls At.”

Taraji P. Henson went “full” Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out during a “Not Like Us” parody, Latto, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Victoria Monét, Tyla and more all flamed the stage up.

Usher received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award and was honored with a dope tribute performance by Childish Gambino, Keke Palmer, Chloe, Tinashe, Summer Walker, Coco Jones, Marsha Ambrosius, Victoria Monét, Teyana Taylor, and Latto.

Lauryn Hill and her son YG Marley surprised everyone with a legendary performance to close the show out.

Over a dozen awards were given to some of the biggest names in the industry. Victoria Monet, in particular, shone brightly, earning her first-ever BET Award and wowing the audience with her electrifying performances.

Killer Mike’s sixth studio album, Michael, maintained its moment after winning “Album of the Year.” The trophy was presented by nominee and guest performer Childish Gambino.
