Tems Releases New EP ‘Love Is A Kingdom’ + New Video.
Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning, Oscar-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer, Tems releases her new EP, Love Is a Kingdom via RCA Records/Since ‘93. The new EP is a cohesive, soul-baring body of work that captures the complexity, power, and vulnerability of love in all its forms. Produced, composed and written almost entirely by Tems, Love Is A Kingdom reflects her artistic maturation and spiritual grounding, reaffirming her place as one of today’s most compelling and innovative voices.
Across its seven tracks, Love Is A Kingdom captures Tems’ exploration of love, power, and spiritual clarity. The EP opens with “First,” a stirring declaration of self-renewal and reclaimed identity, before shifting into the tender honesty of “I’m Not Sure,” where she navigates the delicate balance between vulnerability and self-worth. “Big Daddy” delivers a bold, witty reversal of past doubt, showcasing Tems at her most confident and unapologetic, while “Lagos Love” offers a sultry, soulful ode to connection rooted in honesty, alignment, and the vibrant pulse of her home city. The project deepens with “Mine,” an intimate vow of unity and emotional surrender, followed by “What You Need,” a raw and haunting confrontation with love that has lost its balance. Tems closes with “Is There a Reason?,” a reflective, spiritually charged meditation on faith, purpose, and divine alignment. Together, these songs form a cohesive journey through growth, truth, and the transformative power of love.
The project further solidifies Tems’ global impact as she continues to break boundaries across music, sports, film and culture – all while unapologetically telling her own story.
