Nine-time Grammy Award nominee SZA has signed with WME for representation in all areas. Top Dawg Entertainment’s SZA heads to WME from CAA.
SZA worked with label mate Kendrick Lamar on 2018 single “All the Stars” for the Black Panther soundtrack, which garnered four Grammy Award nominations for record of the year, song of the year, best rap/sung performance and best song written for visual media. The four nominations made SZA the most nominated female artist of the 76th annual Grammy Awards.
“All the Stars” also received Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations for best original song.
In 2018, SZA was nominated for best new artist at the Grammys where she also received nods for three songs from her debut studio album Ctrl. Ctrl debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been certified platinum.
SZA was recognized at Billboard’s Women in Music event in 2018 with the Rule Breaker Award, celebrating boundary-pushing female artists. She was also the first female artist signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, which also boasts top talent including Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q.
