Grammy-nominated rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and author Logic has released his long-awaited ninth studio album, and second with BMG, Ultra 85.

Despite his many acclaimed projects since then, Logic’s fanbase, The Rattpack, have not been able to let go of the coveted album they were once promised. Since initially shelving the album himself, Logic’s various songs, artwork, and merchandise have all left clues and easter eggs leading fans to write their own lore and theories surrounding the highly sought-after opus.

Year after year fans have patiently awaited the day when Ultra 85 would see the light of day, well, the waiting is finally over.

Ultra 85 is the sequel to Logic’s cult classic, groundbreaking sophomore album The Incredible True Story. Logic made a statement with this release and put the world of Hip-Hop on notice… the nerds are here and not going anywhere. All of a sudden an enormous demographic of people, many of which never felt cool enough to fit in with modern Hip-Hop culture, had a home within the genre. With The Incredible True Story, Logic led the charge of that movement.

In addition to being a Platinum selling rapper, Logic is also an acclaimed novelist. While inspiring many young people to pick up a book for the first time, his first novel, Supermarket, became a #1 New York Times Bestseller and quickly became a cult classic. In 2021, Logic followed up with the release of his memoir, This Bright Future, a gripping account of his childhood trauma and the path he found out of that world. Now Logic returns to fiction with a gripping and propulsive new sci-fi novel, Ultra 85 out this fall. With Ultra 85 the novel, fans will get to dive deep into the universe that the album Ultra 85 sets up.
