Delivering on his long-awaited return with the announcement of a new album, Richmond, VA’s $ilkMoney shares the second single from his forthcoming full-length. “THE JURY DUTY SEAFOOD BOIL BAG FROM THE LYFE JENNINGS PAPERWORK PARTY” is produced by Clancy and is accompanied by a music video directed by Mark Gower that finds $ilk in tight corners in a kitchen, flanked by Fly Anakin. The new track follows $ilk’s first offering from his forthcoming album “NEVER TRUST A BITCH THA- *EXPLODES*”.

 

 

Alongside the single, $ilk is unveiling that his new album, Who Waters the Wilting Giving Tree Once the Leaves Dry Up and the Fruits No Longer Bear?, will be released July 18th via Lex Records. The album is a potent artifact of $ilkMoney’s irreverent humor and his refusal to conform, putting together a record that intertwines his signature intensity and debauchery with insightful parables about his own relationship to the industry. More than ever before, $ilk is turning his incisive pen inward, rapping with cutting honesty about his place in hip-hop after what he’s given to the culture and the realization that it doesn’t owe him anything back.
