Eminem alerted fans on Thursday (July 11) to explain that the new rap project is actually a “conceptual album,” and he insists listeners to play the tracks in order from one through 19.

“Public service announcement: the ‘death of slim shady’ is a conceptual album, therefore, if you listen to songs out of order they might not make sense,” he tweeted. “Enjoy.”
