Dr. Dre Talks Working With Snoop On New Album, Release Date Set, Big Brother Role, & more.
Dr. Dre spoke with ET’s Nischelle Turner about performing with Snoop Dogg at the LA28 handover during the Paris 2024 Olympics closing ceremony. Along with revealing his hopes to try out for the 2028 Olympics in archery, and more.
He agreed that Snoop Stole the show at the 2024 Summer Olympics and how hip hop really represented the entire USA.
Dr. Dre said he “doesn’t even feel comfortable performing without Snoop.”…. “I rarely do it,” he said of performing without Snoop. “I’ve done it with Kendrick and Eminem, and those are my brothers, but something about the synergy me and Snoop has is really interesting.”
Dre confirmed that their new album ‘Missionary’ is in the mixing stages and is on track for a November release date with either 14 or 16 tracks. Says Snoop and him (Dre) are butting heads on how many tracks will be on the final product. Dre also says there’s alot of maturity on this project. Dre confirms he’ll be on at least one track with his own vocals.
