Doodles Records Debuts with New Music From Pharrell, Lil Wayne, and More.

Doodles, the entertainment company with Pharrell Williams as its chief branding officer, has unveiled Doodles Records. The new record label is a collaboration with Sony’s Orchard to release its inaugural project, the soundtrack for “Dullsville and the Doodleverse.”

The launch of Doodles Records is being celebrated through the release of a three-song EP, which serves as the original soundtrack for the upcoming short film “Dullsville and the Doodleverse.” This soundtrack will feature tracks from prominent artists. “Not in the Store” by Coi Leray and Pharrell drops in early August. “Can’t Hold Me Down” by Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Kyle Richh follows in late August. The final track, “Doodleverse (Draw Me Closer)” by Swae Lee, Lil Yachty, and Pharrell, is set for a September release.

“Music is and will continue to be a core pillar of Doodles, so we’re thrilled to announce the official formation of Doodles Records,” said Julian Holguin, CEO of Doodles. “Releasing music with some of the most legendary and relevant artists in the world on our first project is a dream come true and a massive source of pride. Moving forward, we will fuse music, animation, and technology to create groundbreaking content experiences that will empower artists and their communities.”

Each release by Doodles Records will be paired with animated videos, spearheaded by Doodles founder Burnt Toast and its in-house animation studio, Golden Wolf. The short film “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” will make its premiere this October.

Alongside the label announcement, Doodles introduced its direct-to-community platform, DoodlesTV. This platform offers fans early access to music releases, video premieres, and other exclusive content. Next week, fans can purchase an all-access media pass for DoodlesTV’s season one, providing early access to view “Dullsville and the Doodleverse.”

Doodles Records is expected to be a new dynamic force within the music industry, producing not only high-quality music but also integrating it with cutting-edge technology and vibrant animation. With such esteemed artists involved in its inaugural project, the label’s future looks promising and full of creative potential. Source: Variety
