DJ Khaled received a huge honor in his city of Miami. The mogul was honored with his own day for his contributions to his local community and to music. He went on Instagram to share his excitement about receiving the award, “Thank you to North Miami Beach and all Miami for his incredible honor!”
He continued, “May 8th is officially DJ Khaled Day! Thank you 305! I’m inspired and I hope to inspire the next generation! Love! @wethebestfoundation @wethebest. Love is the only way.”
Khaled also added, “This is very beautiful and means a lot to me and my family. Big ups to all the mothers and fathers in the building today. This makes me inspired to keep going.”
