Detroit Pistons To Celebrate ‘Big Sean Night’

The Detroit Pistons will celebrate Big Sean on the Detroit rapper’s 37th birthday with Big Sean Night at Little Caesars Arena against the San Antonio Spurs on March 25th, the team announced Monday.

Detroit rapper NASAAN, who appears on Big Sean’s latest album, will also perform at halftime.

Ticket packages start at $45 and include a limited edition Big Sean bobblehead, and the first 100 ticket buyers will receive an autographed copy of Big Sean’s new book “Go Higher” and access to a post-game book talk with Big Sean.

Proceeds from the ticket packages will benefit the Detroit Pistons Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, according to a release.

The announcement comes on the 10-year anniversary of Big Sean’s third album, “Dark Sky Paradise.” The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart and included the hits “IDFWU,” “Paradise” and “Blessings.”

Big Sean’s latest album, “Better Me Than You,” was released in August.

The Pistons are currently 31-26 and have won six straight games, follow Sunday night’s 148-143 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

Big Sean joined the Pistons as the team’s creative director in 2020.

“Being from the city, you all know how much this means to me and the journey we all have to go through to make something of yourself, so I truly appreciate the support,” Big Sean said in a statement. “To be able to work with The Pistons as The Creative Director of Innovation is a dream come true and I can’t wait to bring Don Life to the city.”
