Chip Fu ft. Busta Rhymes “HAVE MERCY”

Legendary MC Chip-Fu, a lyrical architect and founding member of the iconic 90s Brooklyn hip-hop trio Fu-Schnickens, is known for his lightning-fast flow, intricate lyricism, and groundbreaking fusion of Hip-Hop and Caribbean music. His innovative style helped define an era of creativity in hip-hop that continues to influence artists today.

Now entering a new chapter, Chip-Fu returns with the upcoming EP Invisible Footsteps, a project rooted in growth, perseverance, and artistic evolution. Inspired by the idea that progress often happens quietly, the title reflects the unseen strides that shaped his journey toward becoming a sharper artist and a better version of himself.

The EP showcases Chip-Fu’s versatility across sounds and cultures: from the lyrical showcase of “Shell Down,” to the laid-back rhythmic pocket of “Double Dutch,” and the explosive collaboration “Have Mercy” featuring Busta Rhymes. The project also expands his sonic palette with the Afro-influenced “Mi Joi,” where Chip explores melody and emotion, while “More Amor” delivers a message of unity and compassion in a divided world. Continuing a historic musical connection, “Warning” reunites Chip-Fu with Shaquille O’Neal more than 30 years after their groundbreaking collaboration “What’s Up Doc? (Can We Rock)”, proving their chemistry—and impact—remains timeless.
