Black Promoters Collective Earns Multiple 2026 Pollstar Award Nominations.
Following a powerful year defined by sold-out arenas, culturally resonant festivals, and genre-defining tours, the Black Promoters Collective (BPC) has earned multiple nominations at the 2026 Pollstar Awards, reinforcing its position as a driving force in the global live entertainment industry.
The nominations arrive on the heels of a standout run of live experiences that brought together legendary artists, contemporary stars, and multi-generational audiences, reflecting BPC’s continued commitment to producing culturally relevant, world-class live events. This year’s Pollstar nominations include:
Hip-Hop Tour of the Year
• Trey Songz, Omarion & Bow Wow — “The Millennium Tour 2025”
2 Nominations for R&B Tour of the Year
• Brandy & Monica — “The Boy Is Mine Tour”
• Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle & Stephanie Mills — “The Queens! 4 Legends. 1 Stage.”
These honors follow a year marked by continued cultural dominance, including The Millennium Tour 2025, which earned Hip-Hop Tour of the Year. Headlined by Trey Songz, Omarion, and Bow Wow, the tour delivered a high-energy celebration of early-2000s hip-hop and R&B, drawing multi-generational audiences nationwide. The tour proved that nostalgia can still move culture forward, with Refinery29 declaring, “The Millennium Tour gave us more than nostalgia—it was a reset.” The Root further captured the tour’s massive reach, noting that the 2025 run was “taking over stadiums and social media,” underscoring both its live impact and digital footprint. The tour’s influence was also reflected in its commercial success, landing at No. 8 on Billboard’s Top 10 Highest-Grossing R&B Tours of the Year, reaffirming its place as one of the year’s most impactful live music events.
Equally defining was Brandy & Monica’s sold-out The Boy Is Mine Tour, which earned R&B Tour of the Year and stands as one of the most culturally significant R&B tours of the decade. Produced by BPC, the tour was widely celebrated for its emotional depth, vocal excellence, and unifying message. Variety noted that “the audience, brimming with millennials, finally got to witness what a tour that should have taken place decades ago could be — and it was worth the wait,” while Essence declared, “One thing is undeniable: our cover stars Brandy and Monica didn’t just give us a masterclass in vocals and nostalgia. They delivered a full-on beauty spectacle night after night, city after city.” Beyond these accolades, the tour earned praise from The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, EBONY, and The New York Times, cementing its place as a defining live moment of the year.
Additionally, R&B Tour of the Year honors “The Queens! 4 Legends. 1 Stage.” — a landmark tour uniting Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, and Stephanie Mills. A tour of this caliber proved to be exceedingly rare, with VIBE noting that the arena was “completely sold out…to witness history.” The tour brought together four icons for a night defined by legacy and excellence, with Black Enterprise describing the experience as coming together “for a night filled with unmatched vocal prowess, style, ageless beauty, nostalgia, and sisterhood.” The Los Angeles Times further captured the magic of the moment, calling the Inglewood stop “something straight out of a music fairy tale.” The tour’s cultural resonance was matched by its commercial success, landing at No. 10 on Billboard’s Top 10 Highest-Grossing R&B Tours of the Year, cementing its place as one of the most celebrated live music events of the year. The Queens embark on a third leg of the tour starting February 12, 2026 in Jacksonville, FL.
That momentum continues into the current touring cycle, with the New Edition Way Tour opening to strong early ticket sales across multiple markets. The tour has already generated significant media attention and fan excitement, reinforcing the enduring demand for legacy artists presented at arena scale. Early audience response and coverage point to another standout run within BPC’s growing roster of live events.
This year, Black Promoters Collective continues with a robust slate of tours and festivals that further underscores its leadership in culturally driven live entertainment. Spanning arena tours, multi-leg runs, and marquee festival weekends, the company’s live portfolio reflects BPC’s continued focus on legacy and emerging artists, multi-generational audiences, and high-impact live experiences.
The 2026 calendar includes B2K & Bow Wow’s Boys 4 Life Tour, the New Edition Way Tour featuring Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton, and as previously mentioned, the third leg of The Queens! 4 Legends. 1 Stage. Tour. Signature festival properties for 2026 include Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival and the Hampton Jazz & Music Festival. Additional highlights include DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! show and Big Boogie’s Pain on Paper Tour featuring Queen Key.
From arena tours to major festivals, BPC’s 2026 portfolio reflects the company’s continued focus on delivering premium live experiences rooted in cultural impact, musical excellence, and community connection.
