“Been Busy” by Von off North Ave (before Dyzzi from DivSel) is the first single with his new name after taking a break of 5 years.

Von adds: “”Been Busy” was a song I wrote after the first time I went to jail, was going through a bad writers block and was thrown off with so many other things going on in life at the time. I went searching for a beat that sounded how I felt; dark, gritty, and a bit indistinct. Looking back at it, I simply just wanted to reflect a bit on what’s all been going on in my life and head, but it turned into both a refreshing and well needed writing exercise; and I feel like I wrap up the whole reason/creation of the song with my opening lines about how “I had to take it back when..” I had no money, was wearing less quality clothes, was still dreaming, with my crew, essentially things that were going on during the recording of “Same Clothes as Yesterday”, but like how I said at the end of my first verse, “this is Von, don’t ask me about Dyzzi”. Leaving a more lighthearted & yearning period in the past, and onto new embarks with my/his new approach to music creation.”
