Spotify and Joe Rogan Continue Longstanding Partnership / Joe Talks Favorite Hip Hop.

The Joe Rogan Experience is the world’s most popular podcast, and with 18 million followers has been the most-followed show on Spotify since their partnership with Joe Rogan began in 2020. Six years later, JRE remains a defining show on Spotify, with a massive global audience and a format built around the wide-ranging, long-form conversations that have become its signature.

Spotify and Joe are continuing their longstanding relationship with a new multi-year licensing agreement for JRE. Fans can keep watching or listening to new episodes on Spotify each week, as well as across other platforms. “The partnership with Spotify has been an amazing fit, and they’re incredible to work with,” Joe said. “I’m extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come.”

“Joe has built something incredibly enduring, and his show continues to resonate with a massive global audience because there’s simply nothing else like it,” said Jordan Newman, Spotify’s Head of Content Partnerships. “Spotify’s podcast business has grown alongside JRE over the years, and we’re excited to keep building on that partnership for years to come.”

To mark the news, they asked Joe a few questions about his listening habits.

Do you listen to music when you exercise? What kind?

Mostly ’90s hip-hop. Lots of Wu-Tang, Nas, Biggie, and Kool G Rap on my workout playlist. Occasionally I flip it and go with ’60s rock, but more often than not, it’s music from what I think is the golden age of hip-hop. I just love the beats and aggressive lyrics to keep my energy high.

What’s your go-to podcast when you’re running errands or doing chores?

The Tim Dillon Show. I think Tim is a generational talent, and the best ranter on planet earth. His show is such a unique combination of genuinely brilliant cultural insights and hilarious comedy. I look forward to new episodes every week and he never disappoints.
What’s the last song you sent to a friend, and why?

“Wooden Horse” by Craig Mack. It’s a forgotten gem from what I think is an underappreciated artist.

Most recently Joe talked shop with LL COOL J
