Ice Cube Throws Out First Pitch at Last Night’s Los Angeles Dodgers Game.

Multi-hyphenate entertainment icon Ice Cube threw out the ceremonial first pitch at last night’s Los Angeles Dodgers game against the San Francisco Giants, the second matchup in a four-game rivalry series at Dodger Stadium.

Actor and comedian Mike Epps made a surprise appearance as catcher for the pitch, reuniting the pair known for their roles in the iconic Friday film franchise.

The appearance took place during the Dodgers’ Ice Cube Bobblehead Night giveaway, where the first 40,000 fans in attendance received a collectible bobblehead honoring Cube’s longstanding connection to the franchise and the city of Los Angeles. The bobblehead features Ice Cube riding in the same blue lowrider used during the Dodgers’ 2025 World Series championship parade celebration.

A lifelong Dodgers fan born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Ice Cube has remained closely tied to the culture and legacy of the organization throughout his career.

The reunion also comes ahead of Ice Cube and Mike Epps’ upcoming one-night-only event, Everyday’s Friday: Lyrics, Loungin’ and Laughing, taking place Friday, July 17 in Long Beach, CA.
