As creatives, we are often referred to as Dreamers; some say it as if it is something negative, but I always like to say, “I’m a stubborn-headed dreamer with a plan.” This is the first time I worked with the legendary K-Def and when I heard the beat, I knew exactly what to write about.
Back in 2024, I came up with the wild idea of creating an album you could watch. The Docu-Album format was born.
Hello, My Name Is Fokis was something I’d never seen done before: 46 minutes of music and documentary storytelling combined into one experience. It premiered on YouTube in August 2024, and the response was incredible.
Now, the album is finally coming to all DSPs, vinyl, CD, and tape.
“Always Been A Dreamer” produced by K-DEF.
