The son of rapper Lil Jon was reported missing this week.

Nathan Smith, who goes by DJ Young Slade, was last seen Tuesday morning in Milton, Georgia, about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta.

The Milton Police Department said the 27-year-old ran out of his house and has been missing since.

Police said Smith left on foot and does not have a phone with him.

“He may be disoriented and in need of assistance. Family and friends are concerned for his safety,” police said.

A representative for Lil Jon told PEOPLE in a statement that the family is asking for privacy and continued prayers for Smith’s safe return.
