Karri Announces New EP + Shares New Video – “GO” ft Kehlani

Fresh off of his latest single, the Bay Area’s Karri announces his new EP, SLIDER II, out December 5th via PFL (Playing For Legacy). The project serves as a honed sequel to his 2024 EP Late Nite Slider Music, and includes previously-released singles “strip” and “Go” featuring Kehlani, which Karri shared the new music video for. Directed by Trey Lyons (Kehlani, Yeat, JID, Sahbabii), with additional edits by Jeorld Alper, the new video is an ode to Karri’s hometown of San Francisco and the larger Bay Area.

SLIDER II represents an expansion of Karri’s distinct sound, colliding the hometown influences of the Bay Area’s musical legacy with the late-night confessional essence of contemporary R&B. Through collaborations over the course of the year with the likes of Joe Kay of Soulection, Jack Dine, and more, Karri’s proving to not only be a burgeoning talent, but a committed student of R&B with a rapidly-expanding skillset and a keen ear to define the genre’s next chapter.

First coming onto the scene in 2023 with sonic nods to the West Coast, Karri first found momentum with his 2023 track “3AM in Oakland”, which went viral on TikTok and led to the release of his 2024 debut EP Late Nite Slider Music.  He followed that release by collaborating with Goapele on “Suede”, a track from P-LO’s From The Soil album dedicated to the Golden State Warriors for NBA All-Star Weekend. Karri also released “Oakland Baby” with Isaiah Falls after joining him on a US tour run, performed at Wireless Festival in London alongside contemporaries like Odeal, Sailorr, Leon Thomas, KWN and more.
