Chicago rapper Calboy has unleashed the official video for “Chains Off Freestyle”. The new freestyle is found on Calboy’s forthcoming project, Unchained, out next month. “Chains Off Freestyle” as well as Calboy’s new project are released via Calboy’s independent imprint, Loyalty N Co.
In the visual, we see Calboy recording and hanging with his crew in the studio—and as the song’s title suggests, his creativity is being unchained. “This shit way too easy, aye / I trap hard while they be sleepin’ / Think it’s sweet, bitch, I’m on demon / Throw that four, that’s how I’m bleedin’,” Calboy raps.
The Sauceman Keys-produced “Chains Off Freestyle” follows Calboy’s previous singles single “Gang Time” and “On My Own.” His recent music marks his exit from RCA Records and the launch of his independent music career, where he’s carving out his own path with imprint Loyalty N Co.
