Sony Music Publishing today announced it has signed a global publishing deal with award-winning, multi-platinum selling breakout star BigXthaPlug.
BigXthaPlug, aka Xavier Landum, has quickly established himself as one of music’s most powerful new storytellers. With an unmistakable sound that delves into his Texas roots, BigXthaPlug has earned widespread acclaim across rap, hip-hop and country thanks to his fearless creativity and magnetic stage presence. With a catalog that includes celebrated albums like Amar (2023) and Take Care (2024), and songs like “Texas” (2x platinum), “Mmhmm” (3x-platinum), “Levels” (2x platinum) and “The Largest” (platinum), BigXthaPlug’s winning momentum has only continued to grow.
His latest album I Hope You’re Happy, which reached #2 on Billboard’s Top Country and Top Rap Album charts and landed at #7 on the Billboard 200, features collaborations with country powerhouses like Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Roll, and Shaboozey. Notably, his single “All The Way” with Bailey Zimmerman hit #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the first track to claim #1 spots on both Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs and Country Songs charts simultaneously.
On November 21, BigXthaPlug surprised fans with his brand-new single “Cold” featuring Post Malone, released in tandem with the deluxe version of I Hope You’re Happy.
