‘Ash Roth!’ is an ode to dismantling identity. The creation of ‘Seared Foie Gras with Quince and Cranberry’ in 2010 was the beginning of a reintroduction rooted in the belief that what you say matters. What you do ripples out and affects the world around you. That impact is who you are; you are not defined by what casual observers think but by what those who engage with you feel. In the ‘Ash Roth!’ video, Heather Grey lends the musical canvas as well as a friendly ear as we drive through nature and discuss my internal tug of war.

‘Ash Roth!’ is the second offering from Asher & HG’s upcoming collaboration ‘Temporary Heaven.’ The project is the sequel to 2022’s ‘Why’s It So Grey Out?’ due out April.
