Rostrum Records has signed rapper Rockie Fresh to a multi-album deal, the label announced on Tuesday (Oct. 23). The news coincides with the Chicago native’s release (Oct. 23) of his new single and video “No Satisfaction.”
“No Satisfaction” is the lead single from Rockie Fresh’s forthcoming debut album. The set will feature collaborations with Chris Brown, 24hrs and others.
“Rockie has long been an artist I’ve admired,” said Rostrum founder and President Benjy Grinberg in a statement. “And I’m proud that we can be a part of history in releasing his official debut album. Over the course of making this project, I have gotten to know Rockie well. He’s not only an incredible artist but also a wonderful person. It’s really special when you find both of those qualities in someone. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this music.”
Added Fresh: “I’ve always had a lot of respect for Benjy and the system he’s built at Rostrum. Now that we are working together, I fully understand why he’s been so successful in building the careers of some of my favorite artists. His trust in my vision has allowed me to be in a great place while creating this upcoming album. I would say that the future is very bright for both Rostrum and myself.” Source: Billboard
