In the editorial section of a local Barbados newspaper someone took it upon themself to blow off some steam about Rhianna check it out:

I AM TIRED of opening my newspaper to find Rihanna headlines; Rihanna this and Rihanna that. Give it a rest!

People talking about her putting Barbados on the map is nonsense. Barbados was well on the map before she came along; and will be when she is gone. I read a comment written in the DAILY NATION, November 20, about giving her a big welcome each time she comes home. I do not believe she gives her schedules to anyone here, anyway. She comes and goes when she pleases.

All her achievements are hers and I have not seen her do anything spectacular. Where was her donation back in September for the Brittons Hill tragedy? I have nothing against the young woman. More power to her.

But when sensible Barbadians write what to my mind is rubbish in the paper, I feel the need to comment.

Damn yall what’s with all the agression what happened to sticking by YOUR people LOL! I must admit tho half the things she said were accurate and true! Good source of journalistic value I must admit!

Well according to court records he owes the state quite a bit of money. According the the NY Post who put him on blast:

The records show that hip-hop mogul Damon Dash - whose estimated $50 million fortune bought him a chauffeur-driven $400,000 Maybach sedan, diamond-encrusted watches and more than 1,000 pairs of sneakers - owes the state more than $2 million.

Dash, 36, is one of almost 225,000 city debtors who together have shortchanged the city and state more than $1 billion in income taxes, penalties and interest, the records show.
